Worship and Bible Study

The heart of our church is our Sunday worship service.  We are currently meeting at the Masonic Lodge of Fredericksburg on Princess Anne Street.  Our worship service begins at 10 AM and typically lasts about an hour.  

Coffee hour is a lot more than coffee and less than an hour.  Following our Sunday worship service we have a short social time where coffee and snacks are served.  This is a time for catching up with one another and meeting our new visitors.   

We are currently working on reestablishing our bible study now that our Pastor search is complete .  

Our musician is guitarist Andrew McEvoy.  We think you should come visit just to hear him play but hope that you  will learn that there are lots of reasons to stay!

What should I wear?  When you visit you will find some members dressed more formally and some very casually.  Sneakers and dress shoes alike.  Come as you feel comfortable! 

What does a typical worship service look like?  We typically begin with a call to worship, sing a few hymns, share our joys and concerns, listen to a scripture reading, the kids keep us on our toes with their answers during the children's sermon and our pastor shares a message.  Every once and a while you may see a short play or hear from a guest speaker from our community.
